Scribe Software Launches Connector Developer Program

Enables Third-Party Developers to Capture New Revenue by Creating Enterprise Application Connectors that Extend Scribe’s Cloud Integration Platform

MANCHESTER, NH – February 27, 2018 – Scribe Software, a global data integration leader, today announced it has launched a new Connector Developer Program for SaaS companies that want to expand the connectivity of their own products and for developers and systems integrators that want to capture revenue from fast-growing demand for cloud integration platforms by extending the Scribe Online integration platform as a service (iPaaS). The Scribe Connector Developer Program allows these developers to build custom connectors for any custom or enterprise application, and make it available for sale to the integration development community at-large through the Scribe Online marketplace.

With the launch of the service, Scribe also announces general availability of two new connectors for Magento and ServiceNow. Both were developed by Datix, Inc. a company innovating in enterprise software integration, specifically among Epicor ERP, Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

“The Connector Developer Program is a great innovation for developers and systems integrators because it gives us an additional channel through which we can benefit from the growing demand for cloud-based integration solutions,” said T.J. McDowell, EVP of Software Development at Datix. “The Scribe marketplace for connectors exposes us to more potential buyers for the connector products we created and the option to have Scribe resell certain connectors gives us the ability to expand our active sellers for our unique integration products and services.”

To take advantage of the Connector Developer Program, organizations will use Scribe’s comprehensive software development kit. The kit includes a number of efficient ways to create connectors, including a full-featured connector development kit, a fast messaging framework that takes advantage of webhooks, and request/reply capabilities.

In addition to creating a way for SaaS companies, developers and system integrators (SIs) to expand their market or create new integration-based revenue streams, the Connector Developer Program also benefits Scribe’s iPaaS users. The program increases the number of off-the-shelf connectors for the platform, making it possible for an integration developer at small, mid-size, and large enterprises to create complex integrations to those applications in a matter of minutes or hours. The Connector Developer Program, therefore, helps integration developers use the Scribe Online iPaaS to connect any application with another, whether delivered on-premises or as a cloud service.

“The drive toward digital business and the adoption of numerous cloud applications, the internet of things, big data and many other data-driven initiatives are fueling demand for faster, more approachable integration solutions,” said Shawn McGowan, CEO, Scribe Software. “The Connector Developer Program gives us a way to crowd-source integration solutions and ensure that our platform will scale to meet the connectivity demands of all enterprises. But just as importantly it gives our SaaS provider partners and development partners a way to expand their footprint through better connectivity and an outlet for packaged integration solutions.”
